Best Western Shap Wells Hotel
Best Western Shap Wells Hotel, a large Victorian spa hotel, offers a mix of old fashioned comfort and modern facilities. Its 98 bedrooms are designed to meet the requirements of both leisure and business guests and many enjoy extensive view over the surrounding fells. The extensive public rooms are furnished in styles that offer an easy comfort reflecting the hotel’s character and, in the winter, open fires create a warm, snug and inviting environment. They are an ideal place in which to relax and unwind or enjoy a pre-dinner drink from our bars, perhaps a glass of real ale from our local brewery. The Birkbeck Restaurant, which also enjoys views over the fells, seats up to 220 guests and offers fixed price and a la carte menus; less formal meals are also available in the bars. The hotel also has excellent facilities for conferences, wedding ceremonies and receptions and other events and functions. Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas and there is onsite complimentary parking for over 150 cars. 30 acres of grounds set out as gardens and woods that surround the hotel are available for guests to enjoy and if you’re lucky you may see a Red Squirrel an Otter or other wild life.
